Management/Action Plans

We aim to work with all statutory agencies to develop a comprehensive management plan for the SAC which will prescribe measures necessary to protect the long term objective of the SAC and to protect the target species. This plan will ensure involvement and cooperation with the various stakeholders in the project and detail various plans for the SAC going forward.

 

Landowners have a major part to play in the success of this project. We aim to work closely with all landowners along the catchment where their knowledge and knowledge gained from conducting various project actions will be used to established a user friendly guide to sustainable riparian and water quality on farms close to SACs which will not only be used for farms in the catchment area but can also be used for similar circumstances both nationally and internationally.
